- Assist in producing progress updates and reports for funding bodies and the Trials Management, Steering and Data Monitoring Committees. Become a contributing member of the Management and Steering Committees
- In liaison with the University project teams and scientific collaborators, develop and document scientific protocols e.g. for the collection of samples and data and the analysis of study outcomes
- Contribute to ideas for new studies in blood donors and assist in the preparation of grant applications
- Assist in the dissemination of study results by preparing manuscripts for peer-reviewed scientific journals, reports to internal and external regulatory authorities and publications on websites etc. In addition, to prepare abstracts and presentations for conferences
- Participate and support the development of Oncology product and portfolio research strategy utilizing the regional team’s customer insights and therapeutic expertise
- Fosters collaborative relationships throughout Brigham and Women’s Hospital as well as the external research community for the Department. Works with institutional peers to improve collaboration and operational efficiency within the Neurosciences
- Assist and participate in the formulation of strategic plans for the department’s research; coordinate strategic planning processes with the Department Administrator
- Ensure regulatory compliance, including serving as the senior operations representative during regulatory compliance audits
- Assure compliance with Partners, BWH, DFCI, HMS and governmental policies, procedures, and regulations related to research financial affairs, contracts, clinical trials, grants and philanthropy matters
- Cooperate with all audit requirements and implement all audit recommendations in a timely manner
- Ensure department activities comply with sponsoring agency (e.g., National Institutes of Health) and external audit
- Facilitate the development and implementation of standard operating procedures, including a quality assurance program and occupational health and safety guidelines appropriate to staff, students, and study subjects
