- Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program
- Registry eligible or Registered Radiologic Technologist; and maintain active registry status
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and American Heart Association Basic Life Support
- Prepares for and carries out transport of patients, to and from the ED and General Diagnostic Imaging department. Assists technologists as needed in transferring patients to/from cart, beds, wheelchairs and exam tables
- Enters patient information into the computer, scans documents into PACS. Retrieves and prepares patient information in accordance with department/hospital policies and procedures. Submits procedures for interpretation to necessary parties
- Assists the technologist with film processing and film processing equipment quality control

- Perform and monitor the full range of specialized tests and studies according to established methods
- Prepares results for interpretation, including labeling, formatting and associated paperwork
