- Support the pilot plant in all aspects of facility engineering including: technology application, process design, equipment & facility design/operation/maintenance, cleanroom technologies, HVAC systems, utilities, contract administration, procurement, safety, and environmental control
- Ensure the reliability and uptime of pilot plant equipment and facilities through supervision of maintenance technicians and facility engineers, planning, implementation and oversight of preventive maintenance and reliability programs, coordination of shutdown activities, procurement of capital spares, etc

Professional Skills
- Strong computer skills and learning capability (knowledge of advanced spreadsheets is an asset)
- Hands on experience and exposure to production / manufacturing environments with specific experience regarding plant and equipment maintenance
- Working knowledge of SAP, or similar ERP system, within a manufacturing environment is an asset
- Managing the Maintenance department Budgets
