- Act as a day-to-day go-to resource and strategic thinker for the SVP/Business Optimization, SVP/Manufacturing and SVP/Distribution as they address ongoing opportunities, issues and targeted initiatives across all nine of our markets
- Play an important leadership role in helping to drive continued cost reductions, process improvements and optimization to help keep M&D expenses in line with declining volumes
- Support organizational structures and M&D resources in each market and be a resource where and as needed
- Help lead targeted cross-market initiatives to maximize returns on investment and to reduce expenses
- Help develop short-term and long-term strategies and goals to best position troncM and achieve optimal footprint
- Create dashboards and analyses to highlight improvement opportunities and best practices in all markets
- Benchmark M&D key metrics internally and externally and remain aware of industry trends and changes in this area
- Prepare presentations, analyses and documents/write-ups for executive leadership as necessary
